Matt Ward started his insurance career with Iroquois in 1985 after graduating from Bucknell University. Hired as a Marketing Representative, Matt helped Iroquois expand into Central and Northeastern New York and Western Pennsylvania. In 1987 he was promoted to Vice President of Marketing. In 1988, Matt left the Home Office to head a new start-up organization in Virginia. He built Iroquois of Virginia to over 250 agencies and subsequently expanded throughout the Mid-Atlantic and South.
In 2009, Matt added the New England states to his management responsibilities. When not traveling throughout the east coast, he lives in Richmond, VA, with his wife and four children.

Lindy has over 30 years of experience in property and casualty insurance, including positions with Maryland Insurance Company and Zurich. He has earned the CPCU, Associate in Risk Management, and Associate in Premium Auditing designations. He is a certified instructor for Virginia Continuing Education and has taught classes for the Society of CPCU. Lindy joined Iroquois in 1999 and brings his considerable skills to developing the Maryland and Virginia territory.

Ken joined Iroquois in 2006 with over twenty years of experience in the insurance industry in various sales, marketing and underwriting capacities. He came to Iroquois from Zurich Small Business where he was a New Jersey State Agent. He will be responsible for serving current Iroquois member agents and adding new members to the network in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware . Ken lives in New Jersey with his wife and three children, and he is an avid New York Ranger hockey fan.

Tom has more than thirty years of experience in the insurance business. He spent 17 years with The Travelers in marketing and underwriting positions and four years managing and producing in the two satellite offices of Shomo & Lineweaver Insurance Agency. He is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University where he received his bachelors and masters degrees. Tom joined Iroquois in 1995 and works with agents in Virginia and West Virginia.

Judy joined Iroquois in 2004 with more than 20 years experience in property and casualty insurance. She has held underwriting and marketing positions with several insurance companies in this region and she began her career on the agency side, so she is a valuable resource for Iroquois member agents in the greater Richmond area. Judy lives in Mechanicsville with her husband and daughter.

Kathy Gentry joined Iroquois in 1991 as Matt Ward’s administrative assistant. She came to Iroquois with 20 years of experience having worked for Aetna in underwriting and for several local agencies in sales and service. Her job description at Iroquois keeps expanding to match her many skills. She assists our carriers on underwriting and licensing issues, places business for our members with Chubb and AIG Private Client Group, works with our Members on book transfers and cross selling, and is the main contact person for problem solving. In 1995, Kathy was promoted to Membership Coordinator. She is an excellent source of information on Iroquois. Kathy is a native of Richmond, VA, where she lives with her husband and two daughters.

Kurt brings valuable experience on both the carrier and agency sides to his new position with Iroquois. As a top ranked underwriter for Travelers in Pittsburgh, he worked with many Iroquois Member Agents. Kurt’s earlier experience as an agency producer will also be a great asset to Iroquois and our Members. He lives in Cannonsburg, PA and will serve Iroquois Members in Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

Allen has more than twenty years experience in property and casualty insurance. Prior to joining Iroquois in 1996, he worked for Allstate, Atlantic Mutual, General Accident, and Twentieth Century. Allen is a graduate of Michigan State University, where he received a Bachelors of Arts Degree. He is also a CIC and has earned his Associate in Underwriting designation. Allen serves member agents in Maryland, Virginia, Delaware and Pennsylvania.

Rob joined Iroquois after 10 years as an Iroquois Member-Agent. He started his insurance career in his uncle’s State Farm Insurance Agency in Virginia before going to work for Diversified Insurance Industries in Baltimore. In 1997, Rob and two colleagues opened ENI Insurance Services in Havre de Grace, Maryland and soon after joined Iroquois. In 2006, they sold the agency to The CIMA Companies of Alexandria, Virginia and Rob joined Iroquois the following year. Rob brings to Iroquois a vast amount of agency experience, including Commercial and Personal lines Production, IT and back office management. He uses that experience to help Iroquois Members in Delaware, Maryland and Pennsylvania increase revenues and reduce expenses. Rob resides in Havre De Grace, Maryland with his wife Beth.

Erin joined Iroquois in 2007 after almost twenty years experience in sales and marketing positions with The Hartford, Kemper and Aetna. She is well known to agents in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia, and serves both new and existing Iroquois member agents in this region. Erin has a proven record of successful sales management, agency management and profitable new business production. She lives in Broadlands, VA with her husband and two daughters.

Charlie's 38-year-career in property and casualty insurance has included senior positions in underwriting and marketing for General Accident Group, Fred S. James and Merchants and Businessman's Mutual Insurance Company. He has also owned and operated his own insurance agency. Charlie came to Iroquois in 2002 from M&B where he was Senior Vice President of Marketing. His breadth of experience in the industry has made him a great asset to Iroquois and to our members. Charlie and his wife, Linda, have two children and six grandchildren. They are long-time residents of Mechanicsburg, PA.
